Judi Sheppard Missett, who turned her love of jazz dance into a worldwide dance exercise phenomenon, founded the Jazzercise dance fitness program in 1969. Today, Jazzercise hosts a network of 7,500 instructors teaching more than 32,000 classes weekly in all 50 states and 32 countries.
Each 55-60 minute Jazzercise workout is a fusion of dance and muscle toning movements choreographed to today’s hottest music, including Top 40, jazz, country, funk, and classics. Our instructors make all the routines fun and easy-to-follow. Every class includes a gentle warm up, aerobic workout, muscle toning and strengthening segment with weights, and a stretch finale. The workout program, which offers a fusion of jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, and kickboxing movements, has positively affected millions of people worldwide.
